Cultivating Ecosystems

Bringing together networks, movements, and funders across food, education, gender, climate, and more to combine resources and reach for amplified impact

One network reaches thousands, combined we can reach millions.

As our world is more connected and changing so rapidly, we need networks and movements now more than ever.

Yet most networks – despite their deeply collaborative and relational approaches – are still operating in silos.

Overwhelmed by the complexity they face, they are trying to achieve big change mandates with tiny staff and resources.

We believe...

By connecting 1,000's of networks and movements around the globe, we can unlock vast opportunity to transform systems and accelerate change.

There is a hidden power we've barely unleashed. When we intentionally bring together networks and funders, we can:

  • Co-create new solutions to address system gaps

  • Pool resources to fund experimental, high-impact initiatives

  • Share learnings to rapidly scale across diverse networks

  • Combine audiences to reach new stakeholders and reshape societal narratives

  • Streamline infrastructure to reduce critical time constraints

If the industrial era was about building things, the social era is about connecting things, people, and ideas.

How We Cultivate Ecosystems

We are inspired by history’s greatest movements, which have dramatically shifted power and systems through connecting and mobilizing many networks.

But while past movements may have appeared to rise organically, they were powered by invisible forces of relationships, infrastructure, and leadership.

We specialize in bringing together networks, movements, and funders across fields like education, health, gender, or migration to nurture vibrant, system-shifting ecosystems.

Ourselves a network-of-networks, we know firsthand what it takes, making us uniquely equipped to empower others to do the same.

And with vast maps and data points across 1,000's of actors, we have on-hand the relationships and infrastructure to accelerate these processes.

Our Offerings

If you are launching, running, or supporting a connected ecosystem – or thinking about what it might mean to do so – we can support you in:

Co-creating dynamic maps

so groups can identify shared needs and opportunities for mutual support

Launching bold experiments

that leverage collective resources and reach to target new leverage points in the system

Hosting collaborative gatherings

that foster trust, shape shared theories of change, and imagine new possibilities

Designing pooled funds

that fuel sustained collaboration and support participatory processes

Developing tech and systems

making it easier for networks and funders to share information, track impact, and make decisions

Wise Words from the Network

We talk a lot about connections. We talk a lot of being siloed. But I don't know what can be done.
